Sports during work hours
We all know that exercise is good for you. One of the trends of 2018 is: exercise during your working day. Research has shown that it increases your productivity. You’ll get more work done in less time, it also ensures less stress and you can concentrate better. Other additional benefits: you don’t have to go after work anymore. And you have had your daily portion of movement!
What can you do if you want to exercise during your workday? It doesn’t have to be very complicated. Ask some colleagues and take a basketball to the area across ZAPP office in the residential area Fascinatio for a game of basketball. Also fun: organise a bootcamp! Race by bike or walk to the sandwich corner Backwerk at subway station Kralingse Zoom. The first person there is treated by the others J. And do not order something at the Bram Ladage 🙂
Is it not possible during working hours, then you can, for example, go for a run. Do you like the idea of excercising, but not return to the office completely sweaty? Then choose to go (fast) walking during lunchbreak on the bridges along the water. Cycling to work is also a great idea.
Would you rather stay in, than take the stairs more often!
During the winter we can also suggest a nice one: take your skates to ZAPP and go to the icerink at Kralingen. It is nearby and still open the entire month of February.
As you can see there are enough possibilities to exercise more during at work.
The first step is the hardest, but after that you will think: why have I done this before? So … go for it!
